Role Overview
We are seeking a committed full-time Permanent Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our shop. This position involves managing sales to ensure efficiency and profitability, coordinating staff efforts, and delivering a superior customer shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee purchasing, buying, and merchandising activities in the store.
- Collaborate with Regional and Branch Managers to establish quarterly branch sales targets.
- Participate in developing store strategies to increase customer base, foot traffic, and profitability.
- Manage the internal sales staff by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing performance feedback.
- Set and monitor monthly and quarterly sales targets with the team.
- Maintain excellent store conditions and uphold visual merchandising standards.
- Analyze and report trends related to buying, customer preferences, and profit margins.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding free-of-charge stock arrangements.
- Supervise stock and inventory processes including ordering, record-keeping, and management.
- Ensure accurate control of inventory with regular stock counts, seasonal rotations, and promotions.
- Implement loss prevention measures through security protocols, auditing paperwork and inventory, and managing damaged stock responsibly.
- Keep the shop well stocked, clean, and visually attractive at all times.
- Address customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Manage key account relationships and external sales initiatives.
- Drive sales initiatives to meet business goals.
- Engage in hiring, training, supervising, and appraising staff performance.
- Ensure the shop operates in compliance with company policies and Health and Safety regulations.
- Perform additional shop management tasks as required.
Requirements

Working Hours
The position requires 39 hours per week, Monday to Saturday.
