Role Overview

The primary objective of the Shop Floor Assistant is to manage merchandising activities, ensure effective stock rotation, and maintain product presentation standards within the assigned department while upholding hygiene and food safety protocols.

Candidate Profile

• Possess strong verbal communication capabilities.
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability.
• Capable of working independently using own initiative, as well as collaborating as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Embody Centra's brand values including pride, energy, creativity, and community focus.
• Manage order processing across various departments effectively.
• Ensure the entire store is merchandised and displayed to consistently high standards.
• Coordinate with the Store Manager to implement layout adjustments such as ends and sides, verifying accurate execution.
• Follow proper labelling and stock rotation processes to maintain product quality.
• Verify incoming deliveries according to goods inward protocols.
• Maintain neatness and organization in the back storage area by keeping it tidy and appropriately stocked.
