About the Role
This role involves preparing high-quality hot and cold deli items while ensuring customer satisfaction remains the foremost priority.
Candidate Profile
- Having HACCP training is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong communication capabilities
- Previous experience in customer service is beneficial
- Able to operate efficiently in a team-oriented, fast-moving setting and manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Genuine enthusiasm for food and the ability to engage and inspire customers
Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer orders across various fresh food sections, including sandwich and roll preparation, serving hot meals, and slicing meats using controlled portion measures
- Cook, prepare, and present foods offered throughout the business day
- Maintain excellent standards of food display counters in all fresh food departments at all times during business hours
- Demonstrate a passion for quality food by sharing recipes, knowledge, and personal suggestions with shoppers
- Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally, adhering to store policies
