Shift Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Shift Manager to oversee daily operations, staff deployment, and customer satisfaction at our outlet. This role requires a motivated individual who can maintain standards, manage teams, and handle operational tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all mise-en-place tasks are performed according to established standards.
• Manage and effectively allocate staff under supervision.
• Conduct daily team briefings to align goals and tasks.
• Schedule and monitor maintenance of all equipment, furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
• Maintain accurate records including manager's logbook, attendance registers, cleaning schedules, and requisitions.
• Uphold staff discipline and grooming standards.
• Organize inventory and stock-taking procedures and report findings to the Manager.
• Foster positive relations with guests to maximize business opportunities.
• Implement operational control measures efficiently.
• Handle guest complaints diligently and escalate critical issues to higher management.
• Recommend leave approvals for staff under management.
• Ensure daily cleanliness and upkeep of the outlet.
• Assist in the planning and execution of special events.
• Assume responsibilities of the Manager during their absence.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned periodically.
• Guarantee timely dispatch and delivery of all delivery orders.
• Maintain a perfect Mystery Diner audit score of 100%.
• Provide on-the-job training and corrective coaching to team members.
• Follow up on all maintenance requests and escalate to the store manager as needed.
• Manage dry ice and fresh fruit ordering processes.
• Motivate and drive the team to achieve shift goals and sales targets.
• Participate in hiring new staff members.
• Recommend disciplinary action to the Outlet Manager when necessary.
• Authorize staff deployment beyond normal working hours.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in quick service restaurants (QSR), hospitality, hotel industry, or related sectors.
• Willingness to relocate if required.

Compensation

This position offers a monthly salary in the range of 18,000 to 23,000 INR.
