Overview
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily activities within a hotel, café, or restaurant setting during their designated shifts. This role requires managing both service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations, uphold high customer service levels, and maintain stringent hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operational functions of the restaurant or café during assigned shifts.
- Lead and coordinate the service and kitchen staff effectively.
- Ensure superior customer experiences by delivering excellent service and professionally addressing inquiries and complaints.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and overall performance closely.
- Oversee billing processes, manage cash handling, and prepare shift reports accurately.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in the hospitality sector, especially in hotels, cafés, or restaurants, is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills paired with effective leadership abilities.
- Competent in managing personnel and resolving customer-related issues tactfully.
- Exemplify responsibility, punctuality, and strong organizational capacity.
