Job description
Role Overview
The Shift Manager plays a crucial role in the operational success of our restaurant by delegating, guiding, and monitoring the activities of the Crew team while ensuring excellent service and food quality for customers. This role emphasizes leadership through coaching and overseeing day-to-day team responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and assign tasks to Crew team members and follow up to ensure completion.
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members regarding their duties.
- Ensure crew members receive proper training and adhere to safety standards.
- Maintain safe working conditions by enforcing compliance with all safety regulations.
- Monitor team performance to uphold standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC).
- Implement cost control measures including accurate food preparation, proper procedure adherence, and correct use of bin charts to reduce waste.
- Perform restaurant opening and closing procedures as required.

Candidate Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Demonstrated reliability in attendance and punctuality.
- Capability to stand for extended periods without breaks.
- Compliance with all food safety regulations is mandatory.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet service time goals.
- Take direction well and collaborate effectively with others.
- Adapt to changes positively and maintain a constructive attitude.
- Obtain Food Safety Certification.
- At least one year of experience in a restaurant environment or supervisory position.
