Job description
Purpose of Your Role
At Checkers & Rally's, we aim to impact lives positively by supporting our Franchisees, Teams, and Guests. As part of the Corporate Field Operations group, you will assist the General Manager by managing effective shifts through achieving sales and profit targets, following operational procedures, and delivering excellent service to both Guests and Team members. The Shift Manager upholds restaurant standards to position us as the preferred choice for Guests and Staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and profitability through enhancing Guest satisfaction and overseeing restaurant operations.
- Report and escalate any issues or suggestions related to the restaurant, employees, or Guests to the General Manager promptly.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures during shifts and train Team Members accordingly on operations and service standards.
- Address complaints and resolve violations of company policies effectively.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for both employees and Guests.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of management experience in the restaurant industry, preferably within Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
- Basic mathematical competency.
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours.
- High energy levels suited to a fast-paced work environment.
