  • Receive deliveries by opening the store's back door and assist with vendor orders in coordination with warehouse processes.
  • Process product returns, void orders, issue customer refunds, and manage cash drops and register change requirements accurately.
  • Deliver exemplary customer service by greeting and assisting customers and patients, resolving inquiries, and modeling best customer service practices for team members.
  • Maintain store operations by holding store keys when management is unavailable, ensuring accurate transaction recording, including price verifications and voids.
  • Assist management in reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics activities such as returns and empty packaging handling.
  • Support visual merchandising by helping with displays, promotions, seasonal setups, and store resets.
  • Keep precise inventory records, consistently monitor on-hand quantities across departments and storage locations.
  • Oversee store cleanliness, organization, exterior and interior maintenance, and request repairs as needed during management absence.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation using first-in-first-out (FIFO) methods, particularly for consumable and perishable products, and maintain food safety separation protocols.
  • Manage pricing updates daily, ensure correct signage is displayed, and comply with local regulatory pricing and compliance requirements.
  • Support bookkeeping tasks such as cash reports, counts, ledgers, and bill payment as needed.
  • Assist at the pharmacy window when requested and ensure compliance with laws regulating products like alcohol and tobacco.
  • Perform team member bag checks before leaving and maintain respectful workplace relationships by adhering to company policies.
  • Complete special assignments and attend necessary training sessions as directed by management.
  • Serve as a communication link between management and staff when management is not present, report disciplinary matters and customer complaints.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience in leadership, supervisory, or keyholder roles within retail.
  • Fluency in English reading, writing, and speaking (except Puerto Rico).
  • Preferred knowledge of inventory control practices.
  • Applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered as part of an equal opportunity employment policy including disabilities and veterans.
  • Must obtain and maintain valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license if required by state law.
