Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Shift Lead to join our B&Q Erdington store team. This full-time role, based on a permanent contract of 36.75 hours per week, offers a full-time equivalent salary of 27,709.50 annually, plus pension and 6.6 weeks of holiday. You will be a keyholder and work shifts with start times as early as 5:45 AM and finish times as late as 9:45 PM.
Role Summary
As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe shopping and working environment and ensuring smooth store operations. Your leadership will guide colleagues to provide outstanding customer experiences every day, embodying B&Q’s goal to make every customer interaction count. You will oversee colleague deployment, be the first point of contact for customers and staff during your shift, and maintain safety standards in the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure daily store operations run efficiently and effectively.
- Manage colleague deployment to maximize customer service throughout your shift.
- Serve as the primary contact for both customers and colleagues during shifts.
- Maintain and monitor safety compliance to keep the store secure at all times.
