SG Analog/Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer

Role Overview

This position involves developing and executing verification and coverage strategies for sophisticated integrated circuit designs that involve both analog and mixed-signal components. The role requires crafting verification testbenches, executing test cases, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and reliable IC design sign-off.

Key Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive mixed-signal verification and coverage plans grounded on design architecture and detailed specifications.
• Develop and maintain verification testbenches using recognized industry languages and verification approaches.
• Design and conduct test scenarios to examine the functionality, performance, and dependability of mixed-signal circuits.
• Analyze verification outcomes critically, supplying actionable feedback to design engineers.
• Work collaboratively with design and layout teams to diagnose and resolve any design challenges.
• Innovate new verification methodologies, develop tools, and refine techniques to enhance scalability and portability.
• Complete all necessary validation activities to prepare mixed-signal designs for final tapeout processes.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years in a relevant industry role focused on analog and mixed-signal circuit design and verification.
• Proficient in drafting test plans, presenting findings effectively, and communicating well with diverse teams.
• Experience with verification methodologies and tools including simulators, waveform analysis, automation of test execution, optimization of simulation runtimes, and coverage metrics collection.
• Competent programming skills with the ability to write efficient scripts or programs in Perl, Python, and/or C languages.
• Strong skills in debugging, analytical problem-solving, and diagnosis of verification issues.
• Excellent communication abilities coupled with teamwork orientation.
• Background knowledge of analog behavioral modeling is considered advantageous.

Compensation and Legal

The salary range for this role is between SGD 80,000 and SGD 180,000 annually.
