About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and innovative individual passionate about sales and contract management to join our team as a Services Advisor - Contract Performance Manager. Operating within Baker Hughes' Industry Energy Technology segment, you will be part of a global company serving the entire energy value chain with advanced mechanical engineering solutions, including gas and steam turbines, compressors, and expanders.
Responsibilities
- Administer contracts and proposals, liaising with customers, handling negotiations, and interpreting contract terms.
- Support contract management for execution of equipment-only orders, both domestic and international, within LNG and power plant sectors.
- Manage proposal and contract administration tasks independently with minimal oversight.
- Assist managers and senior contract staff on specific contracts.
- Serve as a team leader for designated programs and regularly engage with customers on contractual issues.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure clear communication of contract requirements.
- Review and improve processes to optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or high school diploma/GED plus a minimum of four years in contract administration.
- At least 7 years of experience in contract formation, execution, and performance management.
- Technical knowledge and experience with rotating equipment, particularly gas turbines.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
