ServiceNow Developer (CMDB)

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) stands at the forefront of technology innovation globally, nurturing the growth and development of young technology professionals. We are currently seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Developer to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain the ServiceNow Discovery application to support CMDB population.
• Collaborate closely with the Configuration Manager for accurate and comprehensive CMDB data management.
• Coordinate with teams across Compute, Network, and Security to manage access controls and permissions effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve discovery errors particularly related to permissions and access issues.
• Ensure scheduled discovery jobs complete successfully and on time.
• Assist in validating and testing the Discovery application following system upgrades.
• Monitor the environment for any changes or new requirements that might impact the Discovery solution.
• Manage monthly downloads from the ServiceNow store for CMDB classes and Discovery patterns.
• Update schedules, IP ranges, and credentials for incorporation of new devices and environments.
• Integrate Discovery with third-party tools such as Logic Monitor for enhanced functionality.

• Establish and maintain productive working relationships with different departments, managers, groups, and external vendors.
