Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IBM MQ Administrator to manage and oversee WebSphere Message Broker environments running on Linux systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the messaging infrastructure's availability, scalability, and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support IBM MQ setups including WebSphere Message Broker on Linux platforms.
- Design, deploy, and manage sophisticated messaging queues utilizing Integrated Resource Broker (IRB).
- Diagnose and resolve problems relating to message flow, queue handling, and system settings.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate WebSphere MQ solutions within current enterprise applications.
Required Qualifications
- A total of 6 to 12 years professional experience in IT Services or Consulting sectors as an MQ Administrator or in a closely related capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IBM MQ administration, notably WebSphere Message Broker on Linux environments.
- Expertise in managing large-scale messaging queues with IRB technology.
- Familiarity with programming languages including Java and C#.
