ServiceNow CMDB/Service Mapping Specialist

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Utilize 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
• Leverage comprehensive knowledge of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) architecture, Common Service Data Model (CSDM), and data modeling approaches.
• Integrate ITOM solutions with cloud services like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, as well as monitoring tools.
• Apply proficiency in JavaScript, MID Server configuration, and REST/SOAP API integrations to enhance platform capabilities.
• Follow ITIL/IT Service Management best practices and principles for operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist for ITOM (CIS-ITOM) are highly desirable.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps), Machine Learning, and Predictive Intelligence to drive proactive IT service management.
• Familiarity with DevOps ecosystems and tools including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Git, and Jenkins.
• Prior exposure to ServiceNow Discovery module enhances candidate suitability.

Educational Requirements

• Completion of at least 15 years of formal education.
• Academic performance with a minimum of 50% marks in secondary (10th), higher secondary (12th), undergraduate, and postgraduate levels where applicable.

• Location options include Chennai or Hyderabad.
