Job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance and servicing tasks for elevators according to the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) schedule. The role involves trouble-shooting and resolving breakdowns, inspecting elevator components, repairing faults, and ensuring optimal and safe elevator operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service elevators as per AMC requirements.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and complaints, resolving issues within specified turnaround times (TAT).
- Inspect various elevator parts including motors, controllers, doors, ropes, brakes, sensors, and safety devices.
- Diagnose technical problems and execute necessary repairs and adjustments to restore functioning.
- Ensure elevators operate smoothly, efficiently, and with full safety compliance.
- Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and maintenance standards at all client sites.
- Manage service tools carefully and ensure responsible use and inventory control of spares and materials.
- Prepare and submit detailed service, checklist, and breakdown reports after each job.
- Communicate effectively with Service Engineers and office staff on major technical challenges.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and deliver courteous and expert service onsite.
- Be available to attend emergency and service calls as required.
