Position Overview

The Service Lot Attendant role at North Shore Honda is critical in supporting sales by maintaining all dealership vehicles in top condition. Reporting to the Service Manager, the attendant plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring vehicle inventory is clean, organized, and ready for presentation or delivery. Cooperation with the sales team and dealership departments is essential to keep the lot tidy, orderly, and safe.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle inventory in showroom-ready condition through thorough cleaning and detailing.
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, verifying cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Regularly start vehicle engines to identify operational issues like dead batteries and perform recharging as necessary.
• Arrange vehicles logically and neatly across the lot to maximize display and accessibility.
• Keep the lot, delivery areas, and workspaces free from debris, trash, and clutter.
• Ensure delivery zones are unobstructed by other vehicles or items to facilitate smooth vehicle turnover.
• Organize and store dealership supplies properly at the end of each workday.
• In winter, clear snow and ice from vehicles, walkways, entrances, and other dealership access points to uphold safety standards.
• Assist with additional tasks assigned by management to aid overall dealership functions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a valid British Columbia Driver’s License is mandatory.
• Ability to provide a recent ICBC Driver’s Abstract verifying driving history.
• Proven ability to collaborate professionally with team members across departments.
• Skill in safely operating dealership vehicles and equipment as assigned.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Compensation

This role offers an hourly wage of $19.38.
