Job description
Role and Responsibilities
- Deliver top-quality professional service and technical assistance to Endress+Hauser clients.
- Effectively prepare for service visits by identifying request types, gathering appropriate tools, documentation, spare parts, and following standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Produce precise and professional records of on-site service activities.
- Conduct training sessions for customer maintenance personnel covering maintenance, repair, and commissioning of Endress+Hauser instruments.
- Manage repairs, returns, and spare parts handling, while updating and maintaining a service database including customer details, installed equipment, complaints, and feedback.
- Collaborate with the sales team by providing insights on potential opportunities to promote Endress+Hauser products and solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues on site using personal knowledge and internal resources.
- Assess potential system malfunctions before onsite visits to determine the necessary test equipment and spare parts.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers before and after service or sales activities to support external sales efforts.
Qualifications and Profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology with specialization in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Industrial Instrumentation.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in process measurement instrumentation.
- Proficient in instrumentation tasks including maintenance, commissioning, repair, troubleshooting, verification, calibration, and metrology.
- Strong understanding of communication protocols such as Foundation Fieldbus, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, and Wireless HART.
Additional Advantages
- Experience with Tank Gauging Systems.
- Certification and experience in Metrology and Calibration.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience specifically with Endress+Hauser instruments.
- Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce) and SAP Service/Maintenance modules.
- Knowledge of ISO standards 9001, 17025, and 45000.
