Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Service Coordinator to join our service team based at the Emerald branch. This position involves the coordination and management of all daily Field Service and Workshop operations, ensuring efficient work scheduling to uphold Hitachi’s commitment to total customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and schedule all Workshop and Field Service jobs, managing invoicing and monitoring work in progress effectively.
- Maintain consistent, high-quality communication with customers.
- Ensure the safety and productivity of field service technicians during their work.
- Optimize the use of equipment and resources according to customer needs and established budgets.
- Prepare and update work orders and timesheets promptly; maintain precise documentation and warranty claim accuracy.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in roles such as Service Advisor, Scheduler, Planner, or related positions.
- Background in customer service, preferably with exposure to earthmoving or similar sectors.
- Outstanding communication and customer engagement skills combined with excellent time management in fast-paced environments.
- Experience managing the initiation and completion of service information and processes.
- Ability to multitask effectively with a strong drive for success.
