Role Overview

The position of Waiter at Shangri-La Jeddah encompasses more than standard guest greeting and service. It involves delivering a memorable dining encounter that upholds the brand’s distinguished standards by attentive and passionate service in the Food & Beverage outlet.

Key Duties

• Developing comprehensive knowledge of the menu and dish preparations.
• Offering informed suggestions to guests regarding menu options.
• Taking orders and delivering food and beverages with care and attentiveness.
• Focusing on delighting guests and creating exceptional moments.
• Preparing the dining area to ensure readiness before service commences.
• Collaborating closely with the culinary team to guarantee prompt delivery of orders.
• Handling billing appropriately and ensuring accurate posting of charges.
• Adhering strictly to Shangri-La's Food Safety protocols and procedures.
• Supporting team members to facilitate the overall success of the F&B operations.
• Assisting supervisors to maintain smooth functioning of meal services.

Candidate Profile

• Strong communication skills suited for engaging effectively with guests.
• Proficiency in English.

• At least 1 year of experience working as a waiter within a 5-star hotel environment.
