Role Summary

The F&B Attendant - Russian Speaker is tasked with delivering courteous, attentive, and customized food and beverage service that meets Fairmont's high standards for quality, presentation, and hygiene. Fluency in Russian is essential for effective communication with Russian-speaking guests, to enhance their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Offer attentive and personalized food and beverage service throughout the guest's visit.
• Engage confidently with Russian-speaking guests to understand their preferences and requirements.
• Explain menu items, describe food and drink options, and provide recommendations as needed.
• Accurately record and relay guest orders, including special requests and dietary restrictions to relevant team members.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently and according to prescribed service standards.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge about the restaurant's menu, ongoing promotions, ingredients, and beverages.
• Anticipate guest needs, promptly addressing any requests, concerns, or feedback.
• Keep tables, service areas, and equipment clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Assist with restaurant opening and closing tasks, including mise-en-place and restocking.
• Work closely with kitchen, bar, stewarding, and other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Follow strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and hotel standards.
• Manage guest complaints professionally, escalating to Supervisors or Managers when necessary.
• Promote additional food and beverage items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase outlet revenue.
• Support team members to foster a positive and cooperative working atmosphere.
• Participate actively in hotel training programs to grow knowledge of products and service.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the F&B Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience working in food and beverage environments, ideally in luxury hotels or upscale dining establishments.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related certification is a plus.
• Fluency in the Russian language is mandatory.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with enthusiasm for hospitality.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent grooming.
• Ability to perform effectively in dynamic, multicultural settings.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
