About the Role

The K Factor Productions, based in Jaipur, seeks a skilled and imaginative Senior Video Editor to transform raw footage into compelling and polished videos. The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret scripts and understand the emotional nuances of scenes to craft engaging narratives with effective pacing and visual cohesion.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit diverse video content tailored for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, short films, and other social media channels.
• Translate creative briefs and scripts into finished edits that align with the artistic vision.
• Skillfully apply cuts, transitions, music overlays, sound effects, subtitles, graphics, and perform essential color corrections.
• Preserve strong storytelling flow, maintain appropriate pacing, and ensure seamless visual continuity throughout the projects.
• Coordinate and manage several projects simultaneously, delivering quality content within deadlines.

Requirements

• Between 0 to 5 years of professional experience in video editing; applicants without formal experience but possessing a compelling portfolio are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient use of Adobe Premiere Pro is essential; familiarity with After Effects and DaVinci Resolve is advantageous.
• Keen eye for detail combined with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Preferred submission of an editing portfolio or showreel that showcases relevant skills.
• Experience or interest in sound design and background scoring is an added benefit.
