Role Overview

The Script Writer will be charged with generating original scripts and screenplays for multiple video and film initiatives, taking projects from initial concepts through the completion of final drafts. Daily responsibilities include brainstorming ideas with directors and producers, outlining story frameworks, drafting dialogue and scene descriptions, and refining scripts based on feedback. Close cooperation with the production team is essential to ensure scripts are feasible for filming, aligned with creative objectives, and suitable for intended audiences. The position requires full-time, on-site attendance at the Jaipur studio, with occasional visits to filming locations to support production activities.

Key Qualifications

• Proven ability to craft scripts for various formats including short-form, long-form, and branded content.
• Experience writing screenplays demonstrating clear narrative structures, character arcs, and engaging dialogue.
• Knowledge of video production workflows and skill in adapting scripts to meet production limitations.
• Exceptional writing proficiency with strong grammar, clarity, and the capability to tailor tone to diverse audiences.
• Capacity to work collaboratively with directors, producers, and editors, incorporating constructive feedback effectively.
• Familiarity with industry-standard scriptwriting software such as Final Draft or equivalent tools.
• Excellent time management to handle tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Creative Writing, Media, Communications, or comparable scriptwriting experience.
• A portfolio showcasing previous scripts or screenplays that highlight originality and narrative skill.
