Senior Verification Engineer - PCI Express

We are seeking an experienced Senior Verification Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad and contribute to the next-generation PCI Express controller development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead verification efforts for ASIC designs, architectures, golden models, and micro-architectures of PCI Express controllers at IP and subsystem levels.
• Create reusable components such as bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards utilizing coverage-driven verification methodologies.
• Analyze design specifications and implementations to define verification scopes, develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and verification infrastructure.
• Ensure design correctness by coordinating closely with architects, designers, and both pre-silicon and post-silicon verification teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a B.Tech, M.Tech degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Accumulated at least five years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in verification at Unit, Subsystem, or SOC levels, with expertise in Verilog and SystemVerilog programming.
• Experience with thorough verification of IP or interconnect protocols like PCI Express, USB, or SATA.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining constrained random verification environments driven by functional coverage metrics.
• Familiarity with advanced directed verification methodologies such as UVM and VMM as well as usage of industry-standard simulation and debug tools.

Distinguishing Skills and Attributes

• In-depth knowledge of PCI Express protocol, especially Gen3 and higher versions.
• Strong understanding of system-level architecture for PCI Express and CXL-based designs.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl and Python, or similar software programming languages.
• Effective problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills, aspiring to contribute collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.
