Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive enterprise-wide test strategies, plans, and delivery methodologies.
• Set up quality governance frameworks, including metrics, reporting standards, and procedures for release readiness.
• Lead continuous enhancement of testing practices, tooling, and delivery processes.
• Engage with stakeholders such as business leaders, program heads, vendors, and client teams to ensure alignment.
• Deliver executive-level status updates grounded in factual data, metrics, and insightful analysis.
• Conduct risk management, defect oversight, and quality review meetings, serving as the principal escalation contact for testing-related issues.
• Oversee testing delivery across multiple streams and releases, ensuring project deadlines, quality goals, and budgetary requirements are met.
• Track testing progress, manage risks, dependencies, and identify defect patterns.
• Develop and mentor high-performing test teams, support resource allocation, utilization management, and succession planning.
• Define entry and exit criteria for testing stages and maintain data-driven dashboards and KPIs.
• Apply expertise in Agile, hybrid, and steady-state testing environments.

Required Expertise

• Proven functional testing skills encompassing analysis, execution, and closure phases.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA and Zephyr.
• Strong communication and coordination capabilities, particularly managing offshore teams.
• ISTQB Advanced Certification.
• Experience or knowledge in AI-driven testing and quality engineering transformation initiatives.
