Senior Technical Business Analyst

Job Overview

Join a dedicated team for a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension. This role focuses on applying your expertise in compliance, regulatory requirements, and scheme-related initiatives within the banking and payments sector as a technical business analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage over 5 years of experience in banking, payments, or card issuing domains to support project delivery.
• Gain a solid understanding of system architecture and integration to drive effective system modifications.
• Assist in executing mandated compliance changes and identifying the necessary system updates.
• Collaborate on compliance implementation alongside strategic organizational initiatives.
• Engage closely with essential technical stakeholders including product teams and software developers.

Essential Skills and Competencies

• Business Analysis: expertise in eliciting requirements, modeling business processes, conducting impact assessments, formulating business cases, and writing user stories.
• Compliance and Risk Management: ability to analyze regulations, assess compliance impact, and identify as well as mitigate risks.
• Project Delivery: proficiency with Agile methodologies, managing backlogs, supporting release planning, facilitating testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), and aiding change implementation.
• Stakeholder Management: experience engaging and managing vendors, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.

Desired Experience

• History of working across multiple technology platforms and vendor environments.
• Experience supporting Agile, hybrid, or large-scale program deliveries.
• Familiarity with card issuing platforms and payment processing systems is advantageous.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors and third-party service providers.
