Senior Technical Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architect based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and extensive expertise designing large-scale platform architectures, specifically in logistics and supply chain domains. Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Design and architect large-scale platforms with high availability, concurrency, and distributed system principles.
• Develop and lead architecture for overseas logistics and supply chain platforms.
• Utilize Java and Spring Cloud microservice frameworks proficiently.
• Leverage core technologies, including MySQL or PostgreSQL databases, Redis caching, Kafka messaging queues, and Elasticsearch search engines.
• Employ cloud-native technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes effectively.
• Architect solutions using at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure).
• Provide technical leadership and foster cross-team collaboration to deliver robust software platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with large government IT platforms, smart transportation systems, IoT solutions, or real-time data processing platforms is advantageous.
• Fluency in spoken English is essential for communication across teams and stakeholders.

Reporting and Recruitment Process

• This position reports directly to the VP of SenseTime Middle East Business.
• The selection process includes 2 to 4 rounds of interviews, starting with 1–2 rounds via video or phone with Wicresoft (no written test) followed by 1–2 rounds with SenseTime or client representatives.
