Senior Technical Account Manager, Microsegmentation

Job Overview

Join Akamai's Enterprise Security Group as a Senior Technical Account Manager focused on Microsegmentation, working with cutting-edge security products to protect data centers and cloud environments from advanced cyber threats. As part of the Guardicore team, you will collaborate with some of the top professionals in cybersecurity and data center operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical advisor, guiding customers on optimal configuration and strategic use of Guardicore's micro-segmentation, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and DNS Firewall solutions to maximize platform benefits.
• Identify and consolidate technical issues, coordinating with Guardicore's services and support teams to achieve timely problem resolution.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of customers’ environments, deployment specifics, and operational processes to craft successful engagement plans.
• Serve as the customers’ advocate internally, maintaining communication with product, support, and services teams to ensure continual success.
• Ensure operational excellence by monitoring and managing performance metrics such as Net and Gross Retention, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and overall Customer Health.
• Engage remotely with customers across the Middle East, Turkey & Africa (META) region, with on-site visits as necessary.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Professional experience in Enterprise Networking, Cybersecurity, or DevOps within customer-facing roles.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewall architectures, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and deploying solutions on both Windows and Linux platforms, including skills in basic scripting and use of APIs such as Python and REST.
• Proven ability to cultivate productive relationships across various organizational levels, from CISOs to engineers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrating enthusiasm for learning, effective business communication, and adoption of new technologies.
• Possession of certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CEH, CCIE Security, or GIAC certifications including GCIA, GCIH, GCED, or GMON.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
