Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior System Engineer specializing in full-stack development with expertise in Java and JavaScript technologies. This role involves designing and crafting intuitive, user-centric applications by leveraging modern front-end frameworks and robust backend services.
Education & Experience
Applicants should hold at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent discipline, or possess comparable professional experience. Candidates must have a minimum of three years working as full-stack developers with strong capabilities in Java and JavaScript.
Technical Competencies
- Proficient in developing engaging user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.
- Solid understanding of data modeling along with automation of business processes.
- Experienced in RESTful API design and development using Java, JavaScript, Azure Functions, API Gateway, and on-premise technologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Azure, SharePoint, and Office 365 is an advantage.
- Expertise in backend service development with Java frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Skilled in deploying applications on both Azure cloud environment and on-premise servers.
- Strong database design and query optimization skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with business needs.
- Build and support backend microservices and RESTful APIs adhering to industry best practices.
- Implement security protocols throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Facilitate integration of various services and APIs using API Gateway on both cloud and local servers.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams including project managers, designers, and QA analysts.
- Continuously produce clean, documented, and maintainable code for both frontend and backend components.
- Lead code reviews and promote knowledge dissemination within the team.
- Maintain current awareness of emerging technologies and apply new trends to enhance product quality.
