Job Overview

We are seeking skilled software engineers to join a pioneering team dedicated to developing innovative products that connect billions globally. The role involves tackling complex technical challenges, crafting new functionalities, and enhancing existing applications across multiple platforms, including mobile and web.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop full stack web and mobile applications using various programming languages.
• Design and implement products and features with the internal Hack language.
• Build web or mobile user interfaces utilizing XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate closely with product management and design to define feature specifications and build products with frameworks such as React and React Native.
• Partner with operations and infrastructure teams to develop and scale backend services.
• Construct reporting interfaces and data feeds.
• Take ownership of specific components, features, or systems, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge end-to-end.
• Successfully deliver large-scale projects meeting milestone and quality commitments.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale projects with significant scope.
• Demonstrated leadership in setting technical direction and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience deploying production software with clear quality and reliability benchmarks, including SLAs, test coverage, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in enhancing software quality via code reviews, testing strategies, rollout procedures, monitoring, and proactive improvements.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Ownership experience of distinct system components or features.
• At least six years of relevant application development experience.
• Minimum six years of programming expertise in relevant languages.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Hack.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of programming in C, C++, Java, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Understanding of architectural patterns in large-scale software systems.
• Active engagement in AI skill enhancement, including prompt engineering and agent orchestration.
• Commitment to responsible and ethical AI usage encompassing risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality assurance.
• Proven success integrating AI to optimize workflows and produce measurable benefits.
