Senior Studies and Decision Support Expert

Overview

This role involves providing expert guidance on fuel and feedstock allocation regulations, conducting comprehensive research and studies to aid in resource allocation, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. The expert will contribute to the development and refinement of regulatory frameworks and associated methodologies to optimize allocation activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Advise on the drafting and implementation of rules regarding the allocation of fuel and feedstock, supported by detailed research and analysis to enhance resource allocation.
• Recommend approaches for developing and enforcing allocation regulations in line with established models and methodologies, while analyzing existing regulations to inform improvements.
• Suggest and provide insights on introducing new regulations or policies relevant to allocation matters.
• Design methodologies for conducting studies, gathering data, and outlining prerequisites for new allocation-related regulations.
• Advise on allocation recommendations for gas, ethane, and liquid products, ensuring economic impacts are thoroughly evaluated during allocation processes.
• Propose performance evaluation frameworks for ongoing allocation operations to pinpoint enhancement opportunities and recommend regulatory amendments as necessary.
• Identify key considerations for successfully managing large-scale projects requiring allocation activities to maximize economic benefits.
• Suggest criteria for selecting innovative projects aimed at product diversification and establishing new manufacturing initiatives, emphasizing local content and job creation.
• Provide advisory support in the preparation and validation of data concerning licenses and associated fees.
• Formulate initiatives and oversee efforts to improve integration with emerging industrial cities and bolster local industries through enhanced energy product availability.
• Manage and update data on allocation criteria and processes, including refining calculation models used for allocation requests.
• Review periodic monitoring results on availability of allocatable quantities across sectors.
• Maintain compliance with internal work standards, cybersecurity policies, and organizational procedures.
• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience is required.
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline is mandatory.
