Job Overview
The Senior Structural Engineer will take the lead role in structural design and integration of intricate building and infrastructure projects. This position demands thorough adherence to engineering regulations while enhancing structural efficiency and offering expert guidance throughout design and construction stages.
Responsibilities
- Create and inspect structural designs, calculations, and detailed drawings.
- Ensure all structural plans align with both domestic and international codes and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with architectural, MEP, and construction personnel to resolve any discrepancies in design.
- Conduct structural analyses and provide informed technical suggestions.
- Manage the development and approval of structural shop drawings and details.
- Assist project scheduling and contribute technically during project implementation.
- Document design approvals and compile relevant reports.
- Guide and mentor junior engineering staff, ensuring strict quality standards.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience in structural engineering design and coordination, ideally in contracting or consultancy settings.
- Proficient in structural design software, including ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, and Revit.
- Knowledgeable about UAE construction codes and international engineering standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
