Senior Structural Engineer

Role Overview

A consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer or Structural Designer with over a decade of experience in the field.

Key Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering and design.
• Expertise in conducting structural analysis and design for various building types.
• Proficiency in structural software such as ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structural systems.
• Experience in preparing and critically reviewing structural drawings and design calculations.
• Excellent collaboration skills to coordinate with architectural, MEP, and other related disciplines.
• Ability to independently handle design expectations and adhere to deadlines.
• Background in large-scale residential, commercial, or high-rise developments is highly preferred.
• Work experience in Qatar or the GCC region is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute structural engineering design tasks for building projects.
• Utilize relevant structural design software tools to perform detailed structural analysis.
• Develop and review structural drawings alongside design calculation documentation.
• Coordinate structural aspects with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams.
• Take ownership of design demands and ensure timely project delivery independently.
