Overview
The Senior Strategic Planning Manager for ANZ at Vertiv is responsible for leading the formulation and execution of the Go-to-Market strategy, aligning organizational priorities, and spearheading growth-focused initiatives to reinforce market leadership and ensure sustained business success. This role is key in directing strategic agendas, analyzing market and investment potentials, managing high-impact projects, and facilitating coordination with corporate and regional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ANZ Go-to-Market strategy development and ensure its conformity with corporate and regional goals.
- Champion growth initiatives, both organic and through acquisitions, to expand business within ANZ.
- Drive strategic projects from inception to delivery, ensuring timely and measurable outcomes.
- Present strategic analyses, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership for decision-making.
- Develop and lead partnership strategies including partner identification, evaluation, and project management from start to finish.
- Collaborate extensively with internal leadership teams across ANZ, regional, and global strategy units to maintain alignment.
- Prepare and lead periodic business and strategy review sessions such as Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews.
- Conduct market intelligence activities including competitive and market analyses to guide strategic planning.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance strategic effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on progress of strategic initiatives ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Adhere strictly to Work Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards, promoting workplace safety.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA is preferred. A finance background is advantageous.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, or related fields.
- Solid expertise in strategy development and executing growth initiatives.
- Experience in market and competitive research and partnership development.
- Proficient in ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and comfortable with Microsoft Office and Power BI.
- Skilled in preparing executive-level presentations and written communications.
