Senior Statistical Programmer

Role Overview

This position involves leading complex clinical study programming initiatives as the primary Programming Team Lead. Responsibilities encompass managing the full programming lifecycle from database integration through to delivering statistical outputs, innovating tools and processes, collaborating cross-functionally, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring quality and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee programming tasks for sophisticated clinical trials, taking ownership of project deliverables.
• Develop and deploy advanced macros, tools, and improvements to increase programming productivity.
• Coordinate closely with statisticians, data managers, and clients to guarantee seamless outcomes and provide technical expertise.
• Mentor less experienced programmers to strengthen team capabilities.
• Maintain and produce programming specifications, documentation, and ensure adherence to quality and compliance guidelines.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline; preference for candidates holding a Master's degree.
• Hold between three to five years of experience in statistical programming specifically within clinical trial settings.
• Exhibit advanced proficiency in SAS programming including Base SAS, SAS Graph, and SAS Macro.
• Experience with R programming and ADNCA tools for pharmacokinetic analysis is advantageous.
• Understand clinical data structures, statistical concepts, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Have in-depth knowledge of CDISC standards, especially SDTM and ADaM.
• Demonstrate superior communication skills, leadership qualities, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Show capability to independently address complex technical issues, lead innovative technical projects, and quickly adapt to evolving technologies and industry norms.
