Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Senior or Staff Software Engineers to design, develop, and uphold high-quality software solutions for critical healthcare applications. You will work in cross-disciplinary agile teams emphasizing quality, automation, and superior user experience.

• National Platform for Healthcare Claims

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional agile squads including Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to gather requirements and build technical solutions.
• Architect and design software systems ensuring security, scalability, performance, and ease of maintenance.
• Mentor and uplift engineering capabilities within your teams.
• Set and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development workflows.
• Balance feature delivery with mitigation of technical debt and risks.
• Promote adoption of modern technologies, tools, and software development methodologies.
• Encourage use of AI tools to enhance product quality and team output.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies providing technical and product context, and removing blockers.

Technical Requirements

• Senior role requires 5-8 years experience; Staff role expects 7-12 years building large-scale, high-availability software systems.
• Proven leadership and delivery of complex technical products.
• Expertise in modern full-stack web technologies, particularly front-end frameworks like Next.js, React.js, Nuxt, Vue.js, and backend languages such as Java, TypeScript, Node.js, or Golang.
• Strong skills in relational and NoSQL database design and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS, but Azure or GCP also acceptable.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools including ELK stack, AWS CloudWatch, and Splunk.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Bonus: Experience leading legacy system modernization projects to migrate to contemporary platforms.
