- Conduct in-depth investigations and debugging for device, test, and manufacturing-related issues to identify root causes.
- Drive initiatives aimed at increasing yield, enhancing product quality, and improving manufacturing efficiency.
- Steer cost-saving projects through test program tuning, multisite process improvements, and hardware refinements.
- Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions for production line and customer-returned devices.
- Coordinate efforts with cross-functional groups and outsourced assembly and test (OSAT) partners to maintain consistent production quality.
- Analyze manufacturing data to enable continuous advancements in yield, throughput, and overall product excellence.
- Offer technical guidance and leadership in addressing complex product and production challenges.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline; an advanced degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of eight years’ experience in the semiconductor sector, focused on product/test engineering or high-volume manufacturing support.
- Comprehensive understanding of semiconductor testing methods, manufacturing test sequences, and production support processes.
- Practical experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), particularly the Advantest V93000 platform.
- Skilled in debugging test programs, performing yield and failure analyses, and resolving production-related issues.
- Familiarity with wafer sort, final test, system-level testing, and manufacturing operations.
- A proven track record in initiatives targeting yield enhancement, test optimization, quality improvement, and cost reduction.
- Strong analytical capabilities and troubleshooting expertise spanning silicon, hardware, software, and manufacturing domains.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead intricate projects and influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills paired with effective stakeholder engagement.
- Meticulous attention to detail and capacity to thrive in a demanding production environment.
- Previous experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership is preferred.
- Flexibility to undertake international travel on short notice as required.
