Your Role and Impact

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop the foundation of Base360.ai, crafting customer-oriented products, automation workflows, AI-powered functionalities, and integrations to drive growth with less manual effort. Your scope spans the entire rental lifecycle, covering listing management, dynamic pricing, bookings, guest services, property upkeep, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable services, applications, and APIs handling key aspects such as reservations, pricing, payments, guest experiences, and operations.
• Create event-driven automation workflows to eliminate repetitive tasks like cleaning scheduling, check-in instructions, and owner financial statements.
• Develop AI-powered solutions leveraging large language models and agents for guest communication, maintenance triage, pricing support, and portfolio management.
• Design API-first systems connecting internal platforms, booking channels, third-party providers, and customer tools.
• Integrate with major platforms such as Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, and Google to expand ecosystem connectivity.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native infrastructure focusing on reliability, performance, and scalability across global property management operations.
• Engineer solutions addressing complex challenges like real-time availability sync, dynamic pricing intelligence, smart lock management, multi-channel guest communication automation, operational forecasting, maintenance workflows, financial reporting, and AI-based monitoring.
• Own full project life cycles, guiding initiatives from problem analysis to architecture, implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Provide senior technical judgment in code review, decision-making, and system reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems.
• Proficiency with Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, or similar frameworks.
• Strong grasp of API design, distributed systems, and cloud architecture principles.
• Expertise in designing scalable backend infrastructures and robust data models.
• Ability to work autonomously and make informed technical decisions.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills combined with a product-focused mindset.
