Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in Oracle Banking solutions to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining Oracle-based banking systems with a focus on core banking and treasury modules.
Technical Expertise Required
- Experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking (FCUBS) and related treasury products including FX, Money Market, Derivatives, Repos, and Securities.
- Development and optimization skills using PL/SQL and Oracle Databases versions 11g, 12c, and 19c.
- Proficient in Java/J2EE technologies and WebLogic Server administration.
- Working knowledge of Oracle ADF and Oracle JET frameworks for user interface development.
- Familiarity with XML technologies such as XSD and XSLT, along with REST and SOAP web services integration.
- Integration experience with SWIFT messaging formats like MT103, MT202, MT300.
- Expertise in exposure and limit monitoring, collateral management, and exposure utilization in banking products.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite and middleware integrations; optional exposure to Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Proficiency in batch scheduling tools including Control-M and Autosys.
- Exposure to core banking modules such as accounts, loans, payments, and trade finance.
- Understanding of risk and interest rate management within treasury functions.
- Skills in real-time limit checks and updates, secure coding practices, and role-based access control.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including Basel III, IFRS, and related compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting testing phases including user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Strong analytical, debugging abilities, and collaborative skills within cross-functional teams.
- Mentorship capabilities and involvement in code reviews.
Work Methodologies and Tools
- Adopt Agile and Scrum methodologies for software development lifecycle.
- Usage of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven for efficient deployment.
Additional Information
The candidate should have a solid understanding of treasury back-office operations including deal capture, settlement, and confirmations.
