Role Overview

We seek a motivated Senior Software Engineer to architect, develop, and scale Base360.ai. You will create customer-facing products, automate workflows, implement AI-enhanced systems, and develop integrations that empower property managers to grow operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications, APIs, and services that handle reservations, availability, pricing, payments, guest experiences, and property operations.
• Build event-driven automation workflows to eliminate repetitive tasks such as scheduling cleaning, sending check-in instructions, and generating owner financial statements.
• Leverage large language models and AI agents to automate guest communication, maintenance triage, pricing decisions, and portfolio management tools.
• Create API-first architectures that connect internal services, booking channels, third-party providers, and customer systems reliably.
• Develop and sustain integrations with platforms like Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, and Google.
• Deploy and oversee cloud-native infrastructure aimed at reliability, performance, and global scalability across multiple property management businesses.
• Solve complex operational challenges including synchronization of reservations, dynamic pricing intelligence, smart lock management, multi-channel guest communication, operational forecasting, cleaning and maintenance automation, owner reporting, and AI-driven monitoring and alerts.
• Lead projects through all phases—from problem analysis, architecture design, implementation, deployment, to continuous enhancement.
• Apply senior engineering judgment in making technical decisions, reviewing code, and ensuring system dependability.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience developing and maintaining production-quality software systems.

• Independent decision-making capability and sound technical judgment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a product-focused mindset.
• Interest in AI, automation, and improving operational efficiency.
• Proactive with a strong drive to ship features and learn from real user feedback.
• Balance fast delivery with maintainability and reliability.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to short-term rental, hospitality technologies, or property management systems.
• Experience in multi-tenant SaaS platforms and marketplace booking channel integrations.
• Familiarity with AI agent systems and event-driven architecture.
• Working knowledge of Supabase and AWS serverless infrastructure.
