Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer who thrives on creating scalable solutions that address complex real-world problems. This role emphasizes building and deploying impactful products that enhance the experiences of property managers, their teams, and guests alike.

Main Duties

• Architect and expand the Base360.ai platform covering the entire spectrum of short-term rental activities including listing distribution, pricing, bookings, guest stays, property management, and financial reporting.
• Develop scalable applications, services, and APIs responsible for managing reservations, availability, pricing models, payments, guest engagement, and operations.
• Create event-driven automation workflows to streamline repetitive tasks such as cleaning scheduling, check-in instructions, and owner statement generation.
• Leverage large language models (LLMs) and AI agents to automate guest communications, maintenance request triage, pricing strategies, and portfolio management.
• Design an API-first system architecture enabling seamless connectivity between internal components, booking channels, third-party services, and customer platforms.
• Establish and maintain integrations with key players like Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Google, and other partners in the short-term rental ecosystem.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native infrastructure focused on reliability, performance, and scalability, supporting multiple property management businesses globally.
• Address complex operational issues by developing solutions such as dynamic pricing intelligence, smart lock access, automated communications, operational forecasts, and AI-powered monitoring and alerts.
• Take full ownership of projects from problem identification through design, implementation, deployment, and continual enhancements.
• Provide senior-level technical leadership through decision-making, code reviews, and ensuring system robustness.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience developing and managing production-grade software solutions.

• Ability to work autonomously and exercise sound technical judgment.
