Primary Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and sustain kernel-level security features for PlayStation platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security enhancements effectively.
- Diagnose and fix advanced security vulnerabilities within the kernel.
- Monitor and assess security threats to determine appropriate responses.
- Contribute to open-source initiatives related to kernel security.
- Ensure high-quality code via rigorous testing and peer code reviews.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong proficiency in C programming; knowledge of C++ is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with kernel development; familiarity with FreeBSD is a plus.
- Understanding of kernel security concepts and best practices.
- Experience with version control tools, especially Git and GitHub.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team environments.

- Advanced expertise in operating systems and low-level programming.
- Contributions to widely recognized open-source projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical subjects clearly.
- Passion for gaming and knowledge of the gaming sector.
Compensation & Benefits
The role offers a competitive base salary in the range of €87,800 to €131,800 per year, depending on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
