Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer based in Singapore to join our Professional Services team responsible for configuring and delivering Crew and Operations management products to airline customers. The role involves working alongside clients to adapt software solutions to their business needs, ensuring we provide products that genuinely benefit our users. You will work with a talented developer team focused on tackling complex optimization problems within a dynamic, flat-hierarchy structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their operational requirements and configure applications accordingly.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively within the team and with clients, maintaining transparency and confidence.
- Manage programming tasks, optimization modeling, tuning, testing, and software configuration while addressing client expectations.
- Contribute to workshops and stakeholder interactions for requirements gathering and project delivery.
- Travel occasionally within the APAC region to visit clients as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with Unix/Linux environments.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities in English.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Programming languages including Python, Shell scripting, SQL, Java, and web development.
- Familiarity with functional programming paradigms.
- Experience working in Scrum teams or agile frameworks like SAFe.
- Prior experience with Airline Crew Management systems and Jeppesen Crew product customizations.
- Additional language fluency is advantageous.
