Role Overview

We seek a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Frontend development who values system robustness and product impact. This role demands leadership in crafting a responsive Progressive Web App (PWA) that acts as the primary interface for the CoreConnect system. Candidates must demonstrate high independence, pragmatic technical decision-making, and dedication to operational excellence while thriving in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and implementation of a resilient, server-side rendering-first web application utilizing Next.js, balancing React Server and client components alongside server and client rendering to optimize performance.
• Ensure the PWA incorporates an Optimistic UI along with robust data synchronization mechanisms, maintaining data accuracy despite connectivity issues and leveraging server-side data fetching and bundle management for enhanced performance.
• Develop dynamic data- and map-centric interfaces offering up-to-the-minute operational visibility.
• Contribute to UI component design, including a Workflow Designer for flexible definitions of robot, order, and mission life cycles.
• Establish and uphold frontend standards related to performance, security, accessibility, and system observability.
• Translate broad product objectives into precise technical specifications, proactively refining scopes and producing iterative prototypes amid ambiguous conditions.
• Collaborate closely with Product teams, Engineering Leadership, and DevSecOps to deliver high-impact solutions aligning with business goals.
• Mentor technical staff, conduct thorough code reviews, introduce process enhancements, and nurture a culture focused on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least five years of professional experience emphasizing TypeScript and Next.js or React frontend development.
• Proven expertise in SSR-first architectures using Next.js, deep knowledge of React Server Components, and strategic application of server and client rendering techniques to enhance web performance.
• Skilled in managing real-time, high-volume data streams on the client side (such as WebSockets and Server-Sent Events), implementing scalable state management, integrating sophisticated APIs, and building Optimistic UIs with offline-first synchronization capabilities.
• Demonstrated aptitude to handle uncertain situations, balancing architectural integrity and pragmatic delivery, including technical debt management and MVP shipping, with accountability for frontend lifecycle and incident management.
• Strong commitment to software quality and frontend security best practices, including experience preventing XSS attacks and securely managing tokens. Familiarity with comprehensive automated testing strategies and deployment of observability and performance monitoring tools.
• Effective at interpreting technical directives and producing defect-minimized code; proactive in seeking peer feedback and resolving technical challenges collaboratively.
• Additional proficiencies:
• Backend skillset in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Python, Rust, Ruby, or Go, and experience in REST or GraphQL API development/integration.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure, especially AWS and Kubernetes (EKS), along with experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Helm.
• Industry knowledge in logistics, robotics, fleet management, or experience creating mission-control dashboards and visualizations for high-density or geospatial data.
• Fluency in Business English is essential.
