Role Overview

Reporting to the Technical Team Lead, the Senior Full-Stack Engineer in the HR Core team plays a vital role in delivering high-quality software specifically within the Learning domain. This position demands advanced proficiency in React, Node.js, PHP, and AWS cloud infrastructure. Collaboration with the Technical Team Lead includes architectural decision-making, translating business requirements into precise technical code, and using AI-assisted development processes to ensure code safety, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Learning domain's technical architecture emphasizing efficient data flow, robust APIs, secure integrations, and scalable AWS setup.
  • Assist in creating Architecture Decision Records and detailed API documentation.
  • Assess technical feasibility and provide estimates during project planning.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to convert business needs into clear, testable specifications fit for AI-directed development.
  • Ensure local technical implementations align with architectural standards and governance.
  • Identify and prioritize technical debt for roadmap inclusion.
  • Execute development tasks guided by AI-assisted workflows, managing context and safety checks.
  • Build and maintain a prompt library for team AI tools enhancing engineering productivity.
  • Review and correct AI-generated code to prevent errors or deviations from architecture.
  • Develop and maintain performant front-end interfaces using React and scalable backend services with Node.js and PHP.
  • Enforce rigorous peer code reviews for both human-written and AI-generated components following strict coding, security, and architecture standards.
  • Achieve code quality gates including linting, static and dynamic security scans, and unit testing coverage before merging code.
  • Ensure implementations conform strictly to requirements and system design without introducing critical vulnerabilities.
  • Create comprehensive test suites covering unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to guarantee full coverage.
  • Validate non-functional criteria such as performance, error handling, logging, observability, and AWS readiness.
  • Implement and manage feature flag strategies enabling dark launches and controlled rollouts.
  • Monitor release health metrics promptly within 24 hours post-deployment and facilitate rapid rollback if needed.
  • Provide accurate estimations, technical plans, and task breakdowns for quarterly planning and priorities.
  • Collaborate effectively to meet objectives and deliver roadmap projects on schedule.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, quickly addressing production issues.
  • Promote team knowledge sharing and cross-training to avoid critical dependency risks.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer delivering complex web applications in cloud environments.
  • Expert in front-end development with React and modern state management techniques.
  • Strong backend skills with Node.js and PHP using contemporary frameworks.
  • Experience managing and optimizing AWS services including Lambda, ECS, RDS, and S3.
  • Skilled in designing scalable systems, conducting design reviews, and applying best engineering practices.
  • Ability to review, debug, and improve both human and AI-generated code while maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong planning abilities including risk identification and mitigation during delivery.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Sound judgment in responsibly applying AI tools aligned with security and architectural policies.
  • Team-oriented approach fostering psychological safety and constructive feedback.
  • Dependable and calm under pressure, with accountability for production incident management.

Performance Metrics

  • Ensure all merged code passes automated quality checks.
  • Maintain zero critical or high security vulnerabilities in production releases.
  • Achieve zero production rollbacks due to preventable quality issues.
  • Reach 95% daily usage of designated AI engineering tools within the team.
  • Complete pull request reviews within agreed service levels to support timely delivery.
  • Verify monitoring and conduct impact assessments promptly after releases.
  • Maintain estimation variances within acceptable team thresholds.
