Senior Software Engineer - Audience Amplification

Job Overview

The Senior Software Engineer is essential to our Domain Strategy, driving innovation and delivering superior software solutions. This role takes ownership of medium-scale projects from engineering design through to deployment, maintenance, and enhancement, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.
• Produce, co-author, and review clear, well-tested, and maintainable code and documentation.
• Work proficiently across multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Identify and fix issues efficiently, balancing speed, quality, and technical debt considerations.
• Apply security best practices, proactively identifying vulnerabilities in code and review processes.

Squad Mission

Part of the Agent Division, the Audience Amplification Platform team delivers Domain Group's digital marketing innovations, powering advanced property advertising beyond internal platforms. The team supports social platform products across Facebook, Instagram, Google, and more, aiming to enhance campaign intelligence, transparency, and effectiveness for clients.

Ideal Qualifications and Experience

• Experience with .NET, React, TypeScript, or similar front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Background in microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Use of API and asynchronous integration methods like SNS/SQS and Kafka.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL/Aurora) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Redis).
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Understanding of shift-left testing principles and implementation.
• Familiarity with Functional and Object-Oriented Programming paradigms.
• Knowledge of Cloud Design Patterns, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Domain-Driven Design.
• Awareness of modern security practices including OWASP guidelines.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
