Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer in AI Operations, you will develop the critical operational infrastructure ensuring our AI deployments are stable, secure, and comply with strict data governance standards. You will oversee the process from initial pilots to scalable production systems and help set foundational standards as a founding team member.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage infrastructure for deploying, monitoring, and scaling large language model (LLM) applications.
• Create pipelines for model serving, evaluation, version control, and rollback strategies.
• Establish observability mechanisms focusing on performance metrics like latency, operational costs, quality drifts, and accuracy of Arabic language outputs.
• Support deployments across cloud and on-premises setups adhering to Qatar’s data residency and security mandates.
• Automate continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD), testing procedures, and incident management for AI workloads.
• Collaborate with Applied AI and ML engineers to move prototypes into reliable production environments.
• Establish and document best operational practices to guide team expansion.

Candidate Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken Arabic; English proficiency at a professional level. Arabic is the primary working language, not merely a translation medium.
• Strong personal alignment with Mint AI’s core values, demonstrated through past projects and ethical decision-making.
• Minimum of three years of software engineering experience, with at least two years in infrastructure, platform engineering, site reliability engineering (SRE), or MLOps-oriented roles.
• Practical experience operating LLM or ML systems in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go programming languages, containerization technologies, Kubernetes orchestration, and infrastructure as code practices.
• Experience managing GPU-based workloads and using model serving platforms such as vLLM, Text Generation Inference (TGI), or Triton Inference Server.
• Knowledge of security protocols, compliance standards, and data governance issues typical in regulated government or institutional contexts.
