Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Developer with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining efficient, scalable software applications while collaborating with diverse teams to deliver new features and ensure application quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and uphold high-performance applications leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement innovative features.
• Ensure code reliability and quality through rigorous code reviews and automated testing processes.
• Identify and resolve complex technical problems promptly.
• Keep abreast of latest industry trends and cutting-edge technologies to continuously improve application performance.
• Coordinate with DevOps to facilitate seamless deployment and operational monitoring of software.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years experience specializing in Java development with an emphasis on Spring Boot and associated technologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in building RESTful web services and APIs.
• Proficient with Hibernate, JPA, and ORM frameworks.
• Experience handling relational databases, particularly DB2.
• Strong foundation in software development best practices including version control systems, conducting code reviews, and automating tests.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with JSF considered advantageous.
• Problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Experience using build automation tools like Maven and Gradle.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with additional Java libraries/frameworks including Spring Security and Spring Data.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools including Scrum, Confluence, and JIRA.
• Relevant certifications such as Developer or Spring Professional certification.
