Role Overview

The aPay Dayforce Senior Services Consultant is involved in all phases of the aPay implementation lifecycle including discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support, guided by the Project Manager. This role may take leadership of one or multiple phases to deliver high-quality payroll solutions to Dayforce clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and confirm business requirements from clients, aligning them with aPay Dayforce system capabilities.
• Create and document innovative solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Configure the aPay Dayforce modules to meet the specified business needs.
• Lead and participate in consulting sessions via phone and in-person, recording detailed meeting minutes.
• Engage actively in customer testing cycles, quickly troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Attend internal meetings, providing updates on project progress and deliverables.
• Offer ongoing consulting and general support to customers in your areas of expertise.
• Act as a subject matter expert, supporting internal teams and external users with specialized functional knowledge.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five to seven years in software implementation roles or at least five years working with payroll or HR systems; experience with Ascender Pay is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Background in software design and implementation with strong documentation skills.
• Strong analytical abilities combined with creativity and critical thinking to make sound decisions facilitating project success.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a background consulting external clients.
• Highly organized with adeptness in scheduling and prioritizing tasks, capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently or as an integrated team member within a project.
