Role Overview
This hybrid position requires attendance two days a week at either the London or Cambridge offices. The Senior Security Researcher will concentrate on AI system security, engaging in projects from quick prototyping to long-term research. Acting as a domain specialist, you will provide initial insights and continuous analysis to support product teams, collaborating across product, development, and machine learning groups.
Key Duties
- Analyze trends in the security of generative AI systems.
- Investigate attacker tactics and methodologies.
- Coordinate with development, product, and machine learning teams.
- Offer detailed and practical feedback regarding product security performance.
Required Experience and Skills
- A solid foundation in security principles and emerging AI technologies.
- Familiarity with the dynamic landscape of generative AI models and their typical applications, including foundational frameworks and agentic architectures.
- Knowledge of attacker techniques aimed at generative AI chatbots and agentic systems, such as prompt injection, poisoning, inference, and extraction attacks.
- Proven experience analyzing attacker methods in at least one domain: network, endpoint, cloud, or Kubernetes.
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities in new and complex situations.
- Ability to clearly articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
