Role Overview

This senior-level position is hybrid, requiring in-person presence two days per week at the London or Cambridge office. The role focuses on security research within AI systems, combining rapid prototyping with long-term exploratory projects to influence product development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends pertaining to generative AI security challenges.
• Research and examine attacker methods relevant to AI systems.
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and machine learning teams.
• Provide comprehensive, actionable feedback on product functionality and security performance.

Experience and Skills Required

• Solid grounding in cybersecurity with a strong interest in emerging AI tech.
• Insight into generative AI systems usage, including knowledge of popular foundation models and agentic architectures.
• Understanding attacker tactics directed at generative AI chatbots and agent systems, such as prompt injection, data poisoning, model inference, and extraction attacks.
• Hands-on experience investigating attacker behaviors in areas like Network, Endpoint, Cloud, or Kubernetes environments.
• Excellent logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities in unfamiliar contexts.
• Ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
